Ravir … for naturally beautiful clothing
About Ravir
Ravir boutique is the place to shop for natural clothing for women and men

At Ravir you'll find great looking clothes made of organic cotton, the softest silks, gorgeous alpaca, durable hemp, slinky bamboo, and toasty wool. Our aim is to source such beautiful garments that you won't want to wear anything else.

We're constantly on the look-out for quality fabrics, in styles to suit real bodies. We like the idea of clothing produced with the welfare of the environment in mind. Bamboo and hemp are great examples - they're both low-impact in terms of pesticides and herbicides, and also the amount of water they need. In short - they grow like weeds.

We also support local artisans, with scarves, hats, gloves, etc. created by locals using Australian-grown cotton and wool, and natural skin care such as Lemon Myrtle.  Then there are some great designers including Theresa Jackson who makes fabulous garments out of hemps and linens in rich natural colours such as ochres, charcoals, and African prints. There's Gida Darling's organic cottons, Kita-Ku's amazing garments for the fuller figure in the coolest rayon, and Ko Koa's divine silk creations. In hemp we stock Eco/Arctic Blast, whose styles get better year by year. We also stock Eco's beautiful hand-knits every winter. We stock Braintree clothing in hemp and bamboo. Hemp is a favourite with many people because it feels so nice to wear, and is incredibly durable.

As for our staff, we like to have fun and enjoy a laugh. We're all of an age where comfort comes first - fashionistas we most certainly aren't. We're active in the local community - Rosemary is Irish and is into folk, and is active in the local church. Raelene's involved in the Mount Victoria Great Train Weekend and Siddha Yoga Meditation, and Lindena runs art classes here and in Sydney. She's passionate about community and helped set up the Welcome Table so that locals and newcomers can get together. We all love Blackheath in the beautiful Blue Mountains - come and visit and you'll understand why.
